ORDER PREPARATION
The order preparation time is usually 1 to 3 business days as a general rule. Depending on the volume of orders, it could sometimes be delayed up to 10 days. Please note that all my products are made by hand in my workshop.

-Wash by hand with water removing all clay or mud, towel dry and leave to air dry.
-Do not leave your tools submerged in water or soaked.
-When using the tool on the lathe, you can submerge it in the water in the basin to clean it but then leave it out, do not leave it floating.
-Do not use chemicals or abrasives.
-Apply mineral oil and beeswax ointment or other special wood oil occasionally.
-For occasional maintenance you can use very fine sandpaper 320+ and ointments or special natural oils for wood, let the product dry 24h before use.
-If at any time you notice that the wood is rougher than you like after the first use or at later times, you can gently sand the surface with fine sandpaper 320+ and reapply protection for a smoother finish to the touch. This aspect does not affect the proper functioning of the tool.
-The final product may have slight variations in color and wood grain due to the use of a natural raw material.

I made this tool with two uses: its lower edge has a series of notches that allow you to carve steady grooves and decorative ridges into your pieces. These notches create clean lines that are perfect for catching glazes and adding a nice feel to your work.
Beyond making textures, the D-P4 is a master of fixing and cleaning surfaces. Its long and thin shape gives great access to inside areas, making it the ideal instrument for fixing the floors and walls of deep pots where standard tools cannot move. It allows you to remove extra wet clay, level uneven walls, and clean up marks, ensuring a professional finish even in the most difficult areas.
Hand-crafted in my workshop from premium wood, the D-P4 features a center hole. This hole acts as a secure point to hold, providing the steady pressure and stability needed to keep your textures perfectly lined up and even as the wheel spins.
