Lavare a mano con acqua, rimuovendo ogni traccia di argilla o fango, asciugare con un panno e lasciare asciugare all'aria.
Non lasciare gli utensili immersi nell'acqua o bagnati.
Quando si utilizza l'utensile sul tornio, è possibile immergerlo nell'acqua della bacinella per pulirlo, ma poi rimuoverlo, non lasciarlo galleggiare.
Non utilizzare prodotti chimici o abrasivi.
Non lasciare asciugare gli utensili molto bagnati sul tavolo o sul cartongesso; è importante asciugarli dopo il lavaggio con un panno e lasciarli appesi al foro o in posizione verticale sulla base, assicurandosi sempre che circoli l'aria intorno ad essi in modo che il legno possa espellere naturalmente l'acqua residua.
Applicare occasionalmente olio minerale e unguento di cera d'api o altri oli specifici per legno.
Per la manutenzione occasionale è possibile utilizzare carta vetrata fine grana 240 e unguenti o oli naturali specifici per legno, lasciando asciugare il prodotto per 24 ore prima dell'uso.
Se dopo il primo utilizzo o in seguito notate che il legno risulta più ruvido di quanto desiderato, potete levigare la superficie con carta vetrata fine (grana 240 o superiore) e riapplicare un prodotto protettivo per ottenere una finitura più liscia al tatto. Questo aspetto non compromette il corretto funzionamento dell'utensile.
Il prodotto finale potrebbe presentare lievi variazioni di colore e venature del legno, essendo realizzato con un materiale naturale.

Il D-P6 è uno strumento professionale per dettagli, progettato per i vasai che vogliono sostituire le superfici piatte con trame fluide e in movimento. Ho creato questo strumento con un sistema di curve continue su entrambi i lati: un bordo ha una serie di onde strette e ritmate, mentre l'altro lato offre archi più ampi e ampi. Questo ti permette di cambiare la trama da disegni sottili a onde decise semplicemente girando lo strumento.
Oltre al suo uso decorativo, il D-P6 è un raschietto tecnico di alto livello. La sua forma lunga e l'assenza di angoli acuti lo rendono lo strumento perfetto per arrivare dentro forme aperte come ciotole o giare larghe. Ti permette di premere l'argilla e sistemare la forma interna con un tocco morbido, togliendo l'argilla bagnata in eccesso e livellando le pareti senza lasciare i segni netti di uno strumento piatto.
Fatto a mano nel mio laboratorio con un legno di prima qualità, il D-P6 ha due buchi. Questi due punti offrono una presa superiore e antiscivolo, dandoti la forza equilibrata necessaria per mantenere le tue curve perfettamente uguali e i tuoi bordi puliti mentre il tornio gira.
