Maintenance Recommendations
Wash by hand with water removing all clay or mud, dry with a towel and let air dry.
Do not leave your tools submerged in water or soaked.
When you use the tool on the lathe, you can submerge it in the basin water to clean it but then leave it outside, do not leave it floating.
Do not use chemicals or abrasives.
Do not leave your very wet tools to dry lying on the table or on the plasterboard; it is important to dry them after washing them with the cloth and leave them hanging from the hole or standing upright on their base, but always let air circulate around them so that the wood can expel any remaining water naturally.
Apply mineral oil and beeswax ointment or some other special wood oil occasionally.
For occasional maintenance you can use very fine 240 sandpaper and special natural ointments or oils for wood, allowing the product to dry 24 hours before use.
If at any time you notice that the wood is rougher than you like after the first use or at later times, you can gently sand the surface with fine 240 sandpaper and reapply protection for a smoother finish to the touch. This aspect does not affect the correct operation of the tool.
The final product may have slight variations in color and wood grain due to the use of a natural raw material.
SAFETY WARNING
Handle with care: Some tools have pointed ends. While they are not sharpened, they can cause skin injury if used or handled improperly.
Professional use: Keep out of reach of children. Use only for pottery purposes.
The master of the final touch: meet the T3. Precision is about the details that most people miss, but every potter feels. I designed the T3 as the specialist tool for tight curves and clean transitions. With its small, smooth shape and more specific curve, the T3 allows you to reach into areas where larger tools feel clumsy—like the delicate curve of a teacup or the narrow neck of a bottle.
Hand-crafted in my workshop from premium wood, the T3 is built to help you feel the clay. Its smaller size means you can apply pressure to very specific spots to fix rims or define a shoulder without changing the rest of the shape. Hand-sanded for a very smooth finish, it moves over the clay to erase finger marks and leave a professional surface ready for glaze.
Why is the T3 so useful?
Tight-radius shape Specifically designed for moving through small curves and inside shapes with total control.
Precision tip Features a sharp point ideal for cleaning up the bottom of your pots or making clean lines.
Focused design The center finger hole provides a point to turn the tool easily even in tight spaces.
Artisan wood quality Made from strong wood that stays firm, ensuring your shapes stay the same piece after piece.
Simple for small details It makes fixing rims and small curves very easy, giving your work a perfect final touch.
