Notes and recommendations

-Wash by hand with water removing all clay or mud, towel dry and leave to air dry.
-Do not leave your tools submerged in water or soaked.
-When using the tool on the lathe, you can submerge it in the water in the basin to clean it but then leave it out, do not leave it floating.
-Do not use chemicals or abrasives.
-Apply mineral oil and beeswax ointment or other special wood oil occasionally.
-For occasional maintenance you can use very fine sandpaper 320+ and ointments or special natural oils for wood, let the product dry 24h before use.
-If at any time you notice that the wood is rougher than you like after the first use or at later times, you can gently sand the surface with fine sandpaper 320+ and reapply protection for a smoother finish to the touch. This aspect does not affect the proper functioning of the tool.
-The final product may have slight variations in color and wood grain due to the use of a natural raw material.

Le V9 est un outil spécialisé conçu pour les potiers qui veulent maîtriser les courbes. J'ai conçu cet outil pour résoudre le défi de la création de courbes régulières et amples qui sont difficiles à réaliser avec des outils standards. Sa forme spécifique est idéale pour créer des bols gracieux, ou toute forme nécessitant une courbe creuse, lisse et uniforme.

Fabriqué à la main dans mon atelier à partir de bois de première qualité, le V9 sert de guide stable contre l'argile en rotation. Le bord courbe est fini à la main pour garantir qu'il presse l'argile parfaitement, renforçant les parois tout en laissant une surface professionnelle très lisse. Comme les autres outils techniques de cette série, il possède un trou central qui offre un point d'appui sûr pour un contrôle total pendant le processus de façonnage.
